The heretic mind baffles at the calm, smoke-filled words of the priest. All gone, a picture of yesterday smiles at him as he thinks of things to come. A new found future, glory in independence, power in his own will. To see, to do, all were just options now, all just a faint liability.   
Part 2   
A candle, lit by those who still think they care, burns at the side of his bed, not wanting to let go, still with a glimpse of hope. The ceiling dances in aboriginal movements and shadows, silently waiting to perform an imagined final blow on the head, a mark of a rude awakening.

It's just a ride...

The world is like a ride in an amusement park and when you choose to go on it you think it’s real, ‘cause that’s how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down, and round and round, it has thrills and chills and it’s very brightly coloured and it’s fun for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question: “Is this real, or is it just a ride?” and other people have remembered, they come back to us and say “Hey! Don’t worry, don’t be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride!”. And we kill those people.
“Shut him up! We have a lot invested in this ride! SHUT HIM UP! Look at my furrows of worry! Look at my big bank account, and my familly! This has to be real!”. It’s just a ride. But we allways kill those good guys who want to tell us that, ever notice that?, and let the demons run amok. But it doesn’t matter, because it’s just a ride, and we can change it any time we want. It’s only a choice, no effort, no work, no job, no savings of money, just a choice, right now, between fear and love.
